Rob Mark

Rob Mark helps technology-intensive companies complete the commercial transactions that fuel their growth.  Rob has negotiated everything from a $1B sale of carrier switches to a major US telecommunications carrier to innumerable procurement, distribution, sales, licensing and software-as-a-service transactions of all sizes and shapes, opposite counterparties located throughout the world.  Rob’s most recent negotiations have been on behalf of suppliers of software and systems used to operate telecommunications carriers and internet service providers, website and internet portal operators, app developers, ad tech companies, digital rights management system suppliers, cyber-security firms, internet of things pioneers, and public relation firms.


Prior to founding Mark Law, Rob served as Vice President and General Counsel of TyCom Ltd. (now SubCom, LLC), a developer and operator of sub-sea telecommunications networks. Before that, Rob counseled product development, sales and business development personnel at Lucent Technologies and its predecessor, AT&T Network Systems.

 

Earlier in his career Rob litigated antitrust and trade regulation lawsuits as an associate at a predecessor to the Dentons law firm and represented AT&T before its state and federal regulators.


Rob is admitted to practice law New Jersey and Illinois, and is a graduate of Brown University, the University of Chicago Law School, and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
